So I've had an interesting week. >< Why do all electronic things break down at once?
To start the drama off, my computer battery has been completely dead for 2 months. I've lived with it, but having a laptop that always needs to be plugged in is annoying. So I finally bought a used Mac from my old college....worked great until the disc drive decided to crap out on me. This is the second computer in a row that has done that to me. :( So now I guess I have to bring it in to fix, which is uncool because I have tons of freelance work that has backed up because of my new job.

Yup, I finally made it out to my first workshop! I think I've been spoiled for all possible future workshops by how incredibly awesome this one was. In case you forgot or I haven't raved enough about the artist, it was a workshop given by CASEY BAUGH! http://caseybaughfineart.com/ Amazing artist who's only 25 and already made more than his mark upon the art world. He's currently working on a new series for his first solo show in New York, but still took a week of time out to work with us poor fools who are trying to learn our way in painting. Merry Christmas! It has been a crazy busy time for me since I last updated in...August. But I make it up by uploading tons of pictures for you all.

To recap the last few months:
My mom started college this fall, taking the same graphics program I took, so things around the house have been mostly left up to me. Which means things tend to get a little dusty.
I've painted headphones and a Wii, a wall and most often myself.
I have three websites I've been working on, a couple of which are close to done. One is Saimain (https://www.deviantart.com/saimain)'s site MeadowHaven.net, which is undergoing a massive redesign
Art at the Renaissance Fair
Hello all! Minnesota Renaissance Festival is hosting a new program this year for young artists to come and display their artwork during the festival weekends. I just found out today that I'm going to be a part of that! I'll get part of a tent and can display my paintings and sell whatever I want as well. It's going to be awesome and if any of you are coming to Ren Fest this Saturday, be sure to find the Young at Art tent and say hi. There's going to be some awesome work there.
